Serafino Fazio MD was born in Naples (ITALY) on February 5,1950.

Scientific high school diploma June 1968.
Master’s degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University Federico II of Naples,
School of Medicine on December 21,1974. Specialized in Internal Medicine and in
Cardiology.

Author of more than 173 papers published on prestigious Journals.

Among them:
New England Journal of Medicine, Nature medicine, Annals of Internal Medicine,
Circulation, International Journal of Cardiology etc. He was particularly interested in the interaction between hormones and heart, heart failure treatment, Insulin
resistance, metabolic syndrome, nutraceutical substances and, recently, in Covid19
treatment.
